Legislative Year in Review
A Recap Of This Year It has been an interesting and active year of advocacy on behalf of PENC and our education stakeholders. As the year comes to a close, this is a good time to do a 2023 year-end review and summary. September 29th, 2023 Legislative Update
This long session budget process has finally completed. The bill is not yet law, but it will be ten days from last Friday. The delay is due to the governor refusing to sign the budget, but he is not vetoing the document. A bill automatically becomes law ten days after it is passed if the governor does not veto.
