AFPENC Legislative Committee attends Rep. Amanda Cook's Press Conference

On Tuesday, June 16th, AFPENC members Kelly Van Horn (speaker) and Jennilee Lloyd (3rd from right) attended Rep. Amanda Cook's (right) press conference on HB 1130, which would raise starting teacher pay to $60,000 annually.

Rep. Cook, representing District 60 (Guilford County), co-sponsored the bill with AFPENC member Rep. Rodney Pierce, and was joined on the stage by Rep. Julia Greenfield (2nd from right) and Rep. Maria Cervania (2nd from left).
