Legislative Update: February 11, 2025 Introduction The 2025 NCGA session has begun. It has been a slow start but is expected to pick up in the following weeks. Votes are going to start as early as February 18th in the House. The Senate has not announced when their votes will begin and is not expected to release those dates. SBOE Report: February 2025 The North Carolina State Board of Education met for its Planning Meeting last Wednesday, February 5th, and for its Regular Meeting on Thursday, February 6th.
