Our VP Kevin Goettge met with Rep Jake Johnson!

Thank you to our Vice President Kevin Goettge for meeting with NC House Representative Jake Johnson on Thursday, March 12th to discuss AFPENC’s legislative priorities for education in North Carolina. 

We also want to extend our gratitude to Representative Johnson for taking the time to speak with us. Representative Johnson (113th NC House District) serves as the Majority Deputy Whip, Co-chair of the Appropriations Committee, and as a member of the Education K-12 Committee. 

As we look to increase our ability to advocate for AFPENC members, we intend to build further connections with legislators and community leaders.
