Happy New Year!

As we kick off a new year, I wanted to take a moment to wish you all the best and to thank you for being part of AFPENC. We truly value our members and the work you do every day for students and public education in North Carolina.

Attached is a poster we wanted to share that highlights the value of belonging and the broader network of support available through AFPENC’s affiliation with the American Federation of Teachers (AFT). This union partnership allows us to connect members to additional professional learning opportunities, resources, advocacy, and member benefits—while continuing to focus on the needs and priorities of educators here in North Carolina. Belonging not only provides you more support, you join with others to fight for "opportunity and dignity for all."
